Yesterday a guest at the brown bag lunch called the internet the "new world" for artists. The comment was made in relation to Luisa Hernandez's images of Golden Age internet icons. And this morning, e-flux sent an email to their list-serv announcing new Artist Web Projects being commissioned by the Dia Foundation. The latest project is a bunch of screen savers "painted" by Ezra Johnson. Here's the link. See for yourself how other artists like Luisa are exploring the internet.
