What is in the Future for Young Artists?

Due to recent slashes in local school districts’ budgets, many art and drama classes have been cut from the curriculum. Thank goodness for the Blaffer Gallery Summer Arts program and other University of Houston child enrichment programs. For some children, these programs may be the only way that they will have access to the arts in an instructional setting. Check out the link below to see how the University of Houston is using a grant to provide students with an opportunity to express their singing, dancing, and acting abilities. www.myfoxhouston.com/dpp/news/education/090616_uh_grant_5th_ward
