Most art conservation takes place in controlled spaces behind closed doors. Rarely do museum visitors get a look at conservation on display. The MFAH will be repairing, in public view, a hole in the supersized painting Let a Thousand Flowers Bloom (2000) by German artist Anselm Kiefer. Museum visitors can discuss the conservation project with museum conservators today at 11:00 a.m. and Thursday, July 2.
