Call for Submission

The Center for Creative Work is soliciting submissions for it Ekphrastic Art Exhibit, which will run in conjunction with the City Dionysia, slated for March 26, 2010. Ekphrastic art is art created in one medium that responds to art made in another medium. We are looking for poems, films, songs, paintings, sculptures - works of art inspired by the Great Books. Surprise us! We want pieces taht help us see these old texts in new ways, that reveal someting original in them that we had not noticed before.

Submit your work by Monday, March 8, 2010 to either the office of Professor Maya or Professor Maya or Professor Meyer. Attach your name, phone number, and e-mail to your art. Pieces chosen for inclusion will be announced Monday, March 22, 2010.
